1. The world's most powerful storytellers don't give a shit about writing, screenwriting, novel writing or any other kind of "hard storytelling".
They don't need to.
They are masters of telling quick stories that:
a. STRONGLY INFLUENCE the other person's way of thinking, and..
b. Make the other person conclude, on their own, that this person is a BADASS - a High Status individual to be respected, admired, chased after (and if it's a girl listening to your story, to fvck).
2. Influential storytellers tell only stories with purpose.
They don't just haphazardly share stories because they like the sound of their voice.
Before they even hook you in with the story, they know WHY they are sharing it - they know they point, in advance, that their story is going to make.
For example, when I want to pull a girl home, I'll often share an innocent, little story with her about a talk I recently had with a mentor of mine.
In this private chat, we discovered that the main reason I've been so successful so early in life is the same reason why I can't really connect with 99% of the population:
I hate my comfort zone.
To me, comfort zone = death.
And everything outside of your comfort zone is where GROWTH and LIFE and those TURNED-ON moments of excitement and aliveness all reside.
I require those moments in my life, I love those moments.
So I ask you now:
When's the last time you did something
that was way outside your comfort zone?
And that's what I'll ask her.
Obviously, she hasn't done shit, so naturally the only rational thing is for her to do something way outside her comfort zone right now..
Like going on adventure with this charming asshole she was fortunate enough to cross paths with tonight.

I shared the story because it was leading to a lesson and an implied point.
Then at the end, I took it one step further and added a crucial, leading question there.
3. Stories are the ultimate persuasion tool.
The world's greatest storytellers, in all conversations, reflexively go to STORY when they want to influence or make a point.
Because not only do they work but they work without the other person even knowing it's happening, until it's already too late.
All your life, a select group of badasses have been subtly influencing you and everyone you know.
It's time you become the one doing the influencing.
4. Stories arrest human attention.
You should probably write that down, to the inside of your skull.
I was teaching the Obsession Code LIVE this past weekend in a private Vegas penthouse, when I noticed this happening..

What'd I notice?
Every time I made a statement, 1/3 of the guys there would go into "auto-pilot mode".
They would just shut off.
But when I began to tell a story?
Their eyes and faces would LIGHT UP.
Stories arrest human attention.
And you can't close a deal, get a job or seduce a girl without first OWNING
their attention.
5. Good storytellers don't need amazing stories to share - they can make any little thing fascinating to the people listening.
They're able to do this because they know all the little "story boosters".
Here's one:
You'll CONTROL the other person much more effectively with your story if you use "pattern interrupts" every so often during the telling of the anecdote, because..

7. Creativity and being a masterful storyteller are completely NOT RELATED.
The world's best consistently borrow stories from the lives of others.

For instance, what if you changed that comfort zone story above to say:
"I heard a really interesting story the other day..
A buddy of mine, who's kinda famous actually, was telling me about this private chat he was having with his mentor.
They were talking about why it's been so easy for him to become rich and famous but also why he feels more alone now than ever before.."
Boom.
Lol.
And now you're off and running.

You're pushing them.
You're not attracting them.
Stories pull.
They attract.
You want your communication to attract.
You want it to make them come to you.
So when you hook someone in, then start sharing a story the way I show you inside Storytelling God..
...it's game over.
They're being PULLED IN, of their own accord, and before they even know it, the story has subtly implied the lesson inside their subconscious, without you having to push anything on them.
And even cooler, in the process, you just made yourself look like
a fvcking, socially savvy BADASS.

They hate the idea of peaking, so they NEVER STOP.
They kaizen.
They are committed, lifelong students of game and influence.
They'll leave the "settling" and standing still for the sea of mediocrity, while they're busy dominating their path, fvcking the hottest women and getting exactly what they want in life.
Fvck. Yes.
10. The world's best and most-successful love GOING FOR IT when their gut says "Yes" but their old programming tries to hold them back.
They LAUGH at that old programming, because they know it's not for them.
Then they go and take huge action for themselves.
This Is Why They're So Good..
This is why they can go into a boss's office then walk out 5 minutes later with a promotion and bigger paycheck, while the other guy will stay in there for 30 minutes and get nothing.
It's why they can go chat with the hottest girl at the bar for 5 minutes, and have her MESMERIZED by him, while it took her boyfriend (who was in the bathroom the whole time) 5 whole months just to bang her.
Wonder how long she'll stay with that mediocre scrub, who's NOT a Storytelling God and does NOT HYPNOTIZE HER with his uncanny, powerful, fascinating, entertaining and incredibly influential/persuasive storytelling and conversation.
